Marco Viola is a PostDoc Research Fellow (“Assegnista di Ricerca”) at the Department of Philosophy and Educational Sciences, University of Turin. He is a philosopher of science specialized in philosophy of cognitive science.

He got his PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience and Philosophy of Mind at the School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia. During his career, he has been a vising scholar in Sydney (Macquarie University) and a Research Fellow in Moscow (Moscow State Pedagogical University).

His scientific production (either in Italian and in English) includes two dozen of contributions (articles and book chapters), a book and two edited collection. He is the managing editor of the book series “Le Science” (Rosenberg&Sellier), and the founder of the webinar series Neural Mechanisms Online (www.neuralmechanisms.org).

He is in the steering committee of the Italian Association of Cognitive Science and of the European society for Philosophy and Psychology.
